Madhava Vilasom Higher Secondary School(MVHSS, Thundathil) was established in the year 1950 with Fifth standard as the first batch as an aided School recognized by Govt. of Kerala situated at Thundathil, via Kariyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram. Taking UPS and HS in account we have about 450 students in 14 batches and forty staff members. From 2001-02 academic year onwards the School has facilitated with English medium class. In the past seven decades of history the school has framed eminent and renowned personalities serving the nation and the society with high degree of social commitment and responsibility.
CLUBS & ACTIVITIES
In our school we lay due emphasis on different activities through active participation in various social & artistic clubs.
We guide students to discover and create their own understanding. Besides academics, co scholastic activities form an integral part of the school curriculum. This aspect includes wide range of co-curricular activities. A student will be expected to choose any two skills from below mentioned four groups and he/she will be assessed on their level of participation and achievement.
Literary and Creative Skills
The students actively participate in literary and creative skills at school. This skill includes those activities where students get a chance to learn and exhibit his potential when it comes to Debate, Creative Writing, Recitation, Poster Making, Slogan Writing, etc. After acquiring the skill the student is ready to participate in various inter and intra school competitions.
